Origin and Habitat: Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Turkey, Ukraine
Altitude range: 1500-2300 metres above sea level.
Habitat and ecology: Saxifraga corymbosa grows in moderately shady and humid limestone cliffs or amongst rocks where it is usually found in groups and in combination with other saxifrages like Saxifraga paniculataSN|34608]]SN|34608]] and Saxifraga demissa on outcrops and big boulders.

Description: Saxifraga corymbosa is a perennial plants, that forms groups of flat rosettesrosettes of 1.4-2.1cm long spathulate, glaucous-green leaves It forms a tight encrusted, fairly rigid and glaucous-green cushions surmounted by 5-10 cm tall flowering stems with yellow flower. It is a very variable species, but its extreme forms are linked by intermediates.
Leaves: Imbricate, 1.4-2.1cm long spathulate-ligulate, acute, margins narrowly cartilagineous, ciliate, glaucous-green, encrusted. Stem leaves spathulate.
Inflorescence: Flowering stems 5-10 cm tall bearing branched cymes of six to twelve green and yellow flowers. Peduncles and calyx green, densely glandular; petals short erect, 3-4 mm long and yellow. The whole inflorescence is glandular-hairy with white hairs.
Notes: Saxifraga corymbosaSN|34727]]SN|34727]] is now used as valid name for Saxifraga luteoviridis.
