Origin and Habitat: Klaarstroom, Western Cape, South Africa.
Habitat and origin: The Klaarstroom area is very arid, receiving a bit of winter rain, none at summer, but ocean fog moves inland in the evenings, and this moisture sustains a wealth of succulent life in this harsh semi-desert region. The rich succulent flora comprising plants belonging to the genera Euphorbia, Avonia, Crassula, Adromischus, Haworthia, Huernia, Pleiospilos, Conophytum, just to cite some of the more common.
