Description: Clear delicate pearly yellow & pink blooms. A Echinopsis/Lobivia hybrid - small flowers

Subspecies, varieties, forms and cultivars of plants belonging to the Echinopsis hybrid (Lobivia) group

Echinopsis cv. Easter Parade: has delicate pearly yellow & pink small blooms.
Echinopsis cv. Magenta Caterpillar: is a contorted monstrous/cristate clone with bright magenta blooms from spring to summer.
Echinopsis cv. Stern von Emsbach: has star-shaped flowers very like to cv. Stern von Lorsh but wit orange red tepals.
Echinopsis cv. Stern von Lorsch: is a mutant form of Lobivia densispina with unique shape of the tepals that are very narrow. The flowers remind bright yellow stars.

Cultivation and Propagation: It is a summer grower species that offers no cultivation difficulties, but it is very slow growing. Water regularly in summer (but do not overwater ) keep rather dry in winter. Feed with a high potassium fertilizer in summer. It is quite cold tolerant if kept dry (hardy to -5° C). Need a bright exposure, full sun or half shade in summer.
Propagation: Grafting (usually used to speed the discouraging slow growing rate of this plant), cutting.
