Origin and Habitat: Guatemala, Zacapa (type and only collection from trail between Rio Hondo and waterfall).
Altitude range: 250-400 meters.

Description: Tillandsia brachycaulos var. multifloraSN|28211]]SN|35358]] is an artificial hybrid or cultivar. Hybrid Formula: Tillandsia brachycaulosSN|35359]]SN|35359]] x Tillandsia caput-medusaeSN|35358]]SN|28211]]. The var. multiflora is a bit bigger and sturdier than standard T. brachycaulos and has more elongated, sublax, 4-flower spikes.
